FAQs
What kit and clothing do I need?
If you’re riding down, only you know how much kit you can fit into rucksacks and paniers. However, it being rural Wales means one thing is for certain… Waterproofs. Warm mid layers and jumpers for the morning and a nice shirt for dinner. Other than that, bring any riding kit you would normally, plus a couple extra pairs of socks for when they inevitably get wet.
What time do I need to be up?
A full itinerary of the days activities and timings will be presented at dinner the day before and available throughout the day. A short brief will also be given during dinner to update everyone on expected weather and any last minute changes.
What’s the food options?
A week before arrival, you’ll have a quick call with our chef to run through any dietary requirements and preferences. A menu will be based off what is local to the area and currently in season. Including influence from your preferences during the call. There will be options for breakfast and lunches with dinners being a set menu.
What happens if I break down?
It can happen to any of us. But we’ll try our best to avoid it. Should you break down on route to us, you’ll be at the mercy of you insurance provider. If you break down during the weekend, we can arrange for our van to collect you and the bike (depending on the severity of the problem) and bring it back to the property, where a warm tea will be waiting and arrangements can be made.
Do I need to join in with everything?
We encourage our guests to participate in all of the planned activities, to ensure we foster the best sense of community and friendship possible. However if for any reason you do not wish to join a ride or participate in an activity, just quietly let it be known to one of us.
